The people behind Members-Systems have had extensive experience in the organisation and administration of youth groups and sports clubs in the United Kingdom.

As part of our background, we are Scout Leaders in the south of England. We set up a prototype of this web site to help the Leaders in our  Scout Group to communicate effectively with our members, to make it easy to record who was taking part in our many activites, and who had successfully achieved which of our challenges. It also helped us to track training, authorisations and qualifications within the Leader Team.

This web site has been created to help other organisations, clubs and societies, mainly in Britain, to benefit from the same communication and administration benefits that we have enjoyed for the last few years. Using our long experience in the computer industry, it allows us to use the economies of scale to allow smaller groups to use the same benefits of online membership system enjoyed by much larger organisations. This can be done without administrators having to know about the technicalities of designing, running and maintaining a secure web site.

We have found it necessary to make a small charge for using our systems, to help with the running cost of our servers and their maintenance. We try to keep this charge as low as possible, so that many organisations can afford to use our systems. There is a free tier for very small organisations and low cost options for all of our users.
