How do I get our data out of the system?

The data held in the systems is your data, which we are holding on your behalf to help you make better use of it and to help you to communicate effectively with all your members.

However, there are times when you need to process your members' details in ways that our systems don't allow. You may also want to keep your own backups of your data for your own peace of mind and security.

You can download your data in two ways:

You can download a structured XML data file, which contains all the data we hold on your behalf, and which can be restored to our servers to retain that structure. Note that we provide a direct interface for you to download your data. However, to preserve the integrity of the database, we ask that customers who wish to restore their data do so via support - please email support with your data download if you wish to restore your data. This data can also be deciphered by your own applications if you wish - please ask support for details of our data schema.

You can also download some or all of your data in comma separated format, to allow it to be manipulated on any standard spreadsheet application. This may be showing a chart of awards gained by your members, analysing who has played in which fixtures or determining a geographical spread of your members. It's your data to use!

And, of course, you can use the more traditional ways of preserving and using your data, such as printing from our systems.
